- Nodland DesignsArtist, presentI create graphic design, logos, flyers, brochures, t-shirt designs, business card designs, personal greeting cards, caricatures, illustrations of buildings, cars, pets, and more.
I am a freelance artist and I create, design and illustrate logos, flyers, t-shirt designs, caricatures, portraits, homes, business, animals, cars, boats, etc.
I am experienced in screenprinting on pens and t-shirts. I have worked in a darkroom creating camera shots of art to be burned on screens. I have stretched, coated and burned screens for t-shirt & pen printing. I have manually printed and used a 10 head automatic press for t-shirts. I ran a GPE print machine for pen printing for 15 years.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. I started in a darkroom running camera shots and doing paste-up art for t-shirts for R.K. Stratman (a Harley Davidson t-shirt company) in St. Louis in 1991. Then designed Lapel Pins for Wilson Trophy Company in 1993. Moved to Florida and worked for Fish and Game Finder Magazine in Orlando as a paste-up artist in 1994. I worked at Midstate Screen Graphics in Clearwater as an ink mixer in 1995, then for Sunlover T-shirts in Largo as a camera and layout artist, as well as a screen printer in 1996. I was employed at Bic Graphic USA as a screen printer from June 1997 to April 2013. Due to back and foot surgery they let me go.
I am now a full time artist at my company NODLAND DESIGNS.
I have been freelancing art since I graduated college in 1988. I specialize in Pen and Ink Illustrations. I illustrate homes, buildings, cars, animals, and whatever you need. I also illustrate with colored pencils, creating t-shirt designs. I work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop creating digital art designs for shirts, flyers, logos, etc. I also paint in acrylic and watercolor.
