Zoom, zoom.

I was not looking at the camera. The camera was set and tethered. All I had to do was press and hold the tethered release button for the desired exposure. Then I would pull over and review, adjusting for the next strafing runs if needed.

#Startrails over the Cook Bank building in the #ghosttown Rhyolite, NV. Shot during a new moon.#LongExposurePhotography (16 minutes)

Note: Even when exporting this to 100% quality JPG (8.8mb) from Lightroom it had banding issues. I had to pull that JPG into Photoshop and save as PNG, now 16.6mb, to keep G+ from butchering the quality. Hope that helps others that see that happen.

I just shared Babbly on Producthunt. It seem's like Triberr but I think it could be used to discover popular content and people who share that type of content.

Odd. You don't get a notification when a tweet gets quoted (the new retweet) on Tweetdeck, but do via web interface.

And just think about all the anlytics programs that are going to be broken due to the lack of RTs. Well, unless Twitter is equating the "quote" as a "RT" via the API.

Of course, the new quoting functionality isn't iOS or Android apps yet, but I did get a notification that I had been quoted via the Android app.

After a few mile drive off the main road, it is a reasonably easy 1 mile hike back to this hidden gem.

Every night Google would say: "Good night, Webmasters. Good work. Sleep well. We'll most likely kill your rankings in the morning.”

I can't help but imagine this is how some web site owners and SEOs feel with the Panda "slow roll" announcement. So, yeah, Google seems to, at times, derive sadistic pleasure from telling people, "You'll just have to wait and see if we just killed your livelihood. [Yes businesses should be diversified of course.] Then wait another 10 months to see if the anecdote will work." Well, you know, for those not "just writing good content."

I've come here to connect with people and chew bubblegum; and I am all out of bubblegum!
Introduction

Not your average g33k and / or graphics weenie. I love people in general and am very approachable. Sometimes, too approachable. It is not uncommon for me to be asked for assistance while shopping around Fort Wayne. This fits in well with public speaking, which I am called upon to do frequently.

I am first and foremost an internet marketing guy and having spent many years in sales/marketing has allowed me to bring a unique ROI centric focus to the way I approach web development projects. SEO (search engine optimization / visibility) is a primary goal of every solution. While I have won awards for my web designs, I prefer to ensure the design fits the demographic and fits the conversion goals for the client. I pride myself on not using graphics for graphics sake and likewise with advanced coding. I have a portfolio filled with happy clients, with a bit of pretty darn decent work woven in.

A particular passion of mine is providing knowledge transfer for the LAN party community as well as acting as a liaison between corporate sponsors and LAN event hosts. I run both lanpartycoalition.com and lanpartynetwork.com.

I long to be a published author and a patent holding inventor. Have knowledge in those areas? By all means toss me a bone here.

Wondering if you should contact me, pm me, add me as friend? Go ahead. As I mentioned, I like people. I have come here to network and chew bubblegum, and I am all out of bubblegum.

Amazing pizza! This was a recommendation from a friend in the area and he didn't lead me astray. I was a little concerned at first because the waiter sounded a bit high brow, but his recommendation was spot on. I had the lunch special and it was great. By the way, I can't recall the last time I was at a restaurant where the entire staff was as pleasant as this place. My water glass never dipped below half, a rarity, and we were checked on by multiple people, repeatedly! I struggled with 4 or 5 stars, because they don't have BBQ Chicken pizza, but since it was so good, I just can't dock them a star for not having one item.

I stopped in at The Hike House to see if they might be able to make some photography spot suggestions. Derek came through with some great suggestions and tips. And I never felt like the information was a bargaining chip just used to get me to buy something. Yeah, I'm in marketing so I know that they want me to buy something and that good service often leads to sales, but I didn't FEEL like that was the goal. It was like having a conversation with a friend you know from the area, who happens to work at a hiking store. I did buy a map, because it had the detail I was looking for and Derek was willing to mark it up with me, and some hiking socks. Hey, I needed some new socks anyway and I figured I might as well give the business to them for providing such great service. Big thanks to Derek and The Hike House, I'll be back.

Fun fact, I actually built this track 30 years ago. Like, I literally operated the heavy equipment to constructed it. So, I'm a bit biased. A friend of mine was the designer. I recently returned and was amazed at how the track operator Dan has maintained and improved it. It's a top notch BMX track.

Fast and friendly service. I've sent things from them many times and have been pretty happy. I only knocked a star off because I recall just needing an very short bit of tape once and they wouldn't provide it, so I had to buy a small roll. Not their fault for needing to cover their costs, but still.

The staff here always seem super friendly and well, they carry the special food my dog eats at a reasonable price, so yeah, it's good.

We found the staff at Le Meridian to be extremely nice and anxious to make our stay a good experience. We selected it due to the proximity to Lucas Stadium and reviews. The hotel was very clean and the bed was downright comfortable. The location is very close to many activities, restaurants, and of course shopping. We wound stay there again.
