I would love to hear what you think about this?  Some people seem to just spread their content everywhere regardless of what it is....I think it this is a bad tactic for bloggers and brands..
Bloggers that work with brands are in big demand these days. This makes the competition to get noticed and stay noticed by brands and agencies fierce. Back in the 'olden' days of blogging, you gained popularity by commenting on other blogs and getting on top blogger lists. Now social media has all but done away with having to comment on anything these days. Social media followers and traffic are almost as important as the analytics for your site...

I am starting out 2015 feeling a bit 'stuck.' I am at a crossroads (I think) and am unsure what my step can or should be. If you have seen any of my posts, or heard me speak, you will know how passionate I am about digital marketing and the future of blogger and brand relationships.    With that said, when brands and agencies ask me who to recommend for blogger outreach projects I want to have the best list of bloggers to reach out to.  Hence the building of this list.

Would love some input from the PR and Marketing professionals on this one.  I emailed a company about negative marketing and crisis communications because one of their clients had been Nestle....for ONE of their many products.  Their campaign did not include blogger outreach..but I wanted to know how prepared they were for negative feedback when dealing with a company like Nestle.   I was thinking back to when I have seen so-called hashtag hijacking when bloggers have been participating in campaigns for their less controversial products by those who feel strongly about the companies marketing of things like baby formula and their bottled water practices for examples.    I hit a dead end in asking for their thoughts on this as it seemed that because blogger contact wasn't part of their campaign that those issues did not arise.  I find this hard to believe nowadays, especially in the world of social media.   Do companies not look at the over all reputation of a company before taking on one of their products as a client?

Due to the Super Bowl, the newsfeeds on Twitter and Facebook were particularly entertaining. However there were people online who were not watching the game and one group were chatting about not only the total lack of response from a brand on their page, but the fact that the brand DELETED her comment. I see this all the time.Twitter is sadly awash with insane social media failures from brands. It isn't even worth talking about anymore. On Facebo...

This article also works great if your replace journalist with BLOGGER...agree??
Reason #5: The last time you sent a pitch to that particular journalist, it took you a full day to reply when he or she responded to your pitch.
