So if you tried a test run with new G+ you probably noticed Google separated the integration of "Photos" from your G+ Profile. For visual artists who using G+ for their work, its a fucked up decision. Deleting user comments from your posts will not change the fact. There are a ton of photographers using G+ and unless Google does some favor to popular bunch like - most of them will leave after these updates and changes. Why? Lets see...
Normally in a facebook page or here in your profile when you upload a group of photos you taken and an album created and shows up on your profile wall (or stream or whatever) and you have a tab on top somewhere labeled #Photos so people who visiting your profile can see your work. If you are using #Blogger with a white color scheme template - you can post a photo there from your uploads and give a link to your G+ album just I always do. That was a nice way to utilize G+ with Blogger and I was pretty happy with that integration. For that and some other reasons I gave up on my #Tumblr and deleted my account there. Because with G+ and #Blogger I had everything I needed. Plus the great photography communities... But now I regret not keeping my #Tumblr .
Now #Photos are separating from G+ profiles on the new design. When you visit a photographer's gallery it will look like a separate page and worse it will look like a stupidphone app with a black background and huge ugly white text. These are the ideas coming from people who think everyone using phones and tablets to login here. Well I'm still using a real computer for my work.
Even though keep deleting my criticizing comments from his recent post about updates, it will not change the fact that all fucked up for many people. I'm pretty sure Google will smooth the way for privileged users such as with keeping their albums and galleries on their profiles, hell they even open a special gallery for them and put it on the top of the front page but for less popular people like myself G+ is dead once again...
