I hear you brother Pastor, and I can even clap to it on 2 and 4, and praise Him in the dance! Oh, wait, is that forbidden in the BoC too?

This is pretty fascinating. I'm still working on the ways it is useful, but to see all my notes connected blows me away. I'm really glad I make extensive use of tabs with +Evernote.

I'll try to do this without too much bias. This post is a direct response to 15 Reasons Why We Should Still be Using Hymnals and A Few More Reasons Why We Should Use Hymnals by Jonathan something posted in July of 2014 on his blog, theologyinworship.com. He...

Hey Kent, really thoughtful post.  I enjoyed reading it for sure.  I didn't read the post that you're reacting toward so perhaps the author talked about this, but I think it will be interesting to see what science uncovers about comprehension with physical texts vs. screens.  There's some fascinating studies going on right now on that that might influence this discussion too.

Great new song from Koine. Don't miss this one - it's absolutely standout among their past repertoire and among the rest of the music coming out right now.

One Way to Use Luther's Confession Explanation in Public Worship
During the month of August 2014, Illumine Church, Rock Hill, SC had a sermon series on education and spiritual growth. For our confession time at the beginning of the service, Martin Luther's explanation of confession from the Small Catechism was very usefu...

I live near here. That's cool.

A must see video of uptown Charlotte. Sit back and listen to the chill music while flying around the buildings and statues of the city center. What a great city we have here…

These guys are awesome - quick responses, great selection, excellent prices. I'd recommend them to anyone. My one thought for improvement has nothing to do with their sales or service - they could just do more to make their building, which has a cool and retro exterior feel, reflect the quality of the interior and, more importantly of their excellent work.

While there are some good things at Grumpy's, particularly the hamburgers, the service and the pricing aren't ideal. The outdoor seating area is definitely the best place to sit, weather permitting. The menu could also include some healthier options. Overall, not a bad establishment at all - just one that has room for subtle improvements that would make it excellent.

I'm a Rock Hill resident, and Coin Laundry offers everything you'd look for in a laundromat. The machines (of many sizes) work well and the place is fairly clean. It is conveniently located and offers WIFI. Like a few places in town, it could use an update on the storefront, but that's much less important than the fact that Coin Laundry accomplishes its purpose well.

This is arguably the best breakfast place in Rock Hill, and should be a go-to for anyone who loves breakfast food. It's practically the JJ's Diner of this town. The new location is better in every way, and the menu seems to have something great I hadn't noticed before every time I go. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a breakfast/brunch restaurant. Long live the Yolk.

It's not uncommon to see a line of cars waiting to get washed at Quick C, and there are plenty of good reasons for that. The staff is friendly and helpful. The managers are good and quick to serve. Most of all, the price is right and when it's all said and done, your car is clean. I'm pleased to have them in the neighborhood.

India Hook Elementary School is an excellent school with a beautiful campus. The staff is friendly and considerate and the faculty is caring. The facility is rather new and well kept both inside and out. The students and citizens of Rock Hill are fortunate to have such a school.

A large congregation in a beautiful historic church, and best of all, they clearly connect people to Jesus.
