I hear a grinding noise at the front of my car. This may be a Water Pump failure in your vehicle. The grinding noise could mean the bearings are bad in the Water Pump pulley. Some other symptoms of a failing Car Water Pump may be your car engine overheating or you may have steam coming from your radiator. A water pump for your car should last about 100,000 miles. You can buy a cheaper water pump but typically they can fail at about 30,000 miles so invest in a good Water Pump for your vehicle. The cost of a Water Pump for your car will vary depending on make and model of your car. The costs usually begin at about $350 and can be much higher. We are often asked if you can drive without a car water pump. Well, yes you can but if you want to keep your car we suggest you do NOT drive without a working Water Pump. The Water Pump for your car flushes coolant through your engine block and radiator and helps in keeping heat away from your car engine. To help maintain your water pump we recommend regular Coolant Flushes to keep dirt and debris from being flushed through your system. Visit our website below to make an appointment or feel free to give us a call. We are always happy to answer any questions. #waterpump #radiator #howmuchisawaterpumpformycar #carwaterpumprepairnearme #whyismycaroverheating

What does the air compressor do in a car? How long does a car air compressor last? These are some great questions especially if your car air conditioner in your car is not working. The air compressor is the heart of your car's air conditioning system. It is powered by the Serpentine Belt. The A/C Air Compressor for your car takes hot gas and turns it into cold fluid. The Air Compressor in your car takes the refrigerant and pressurizes it and raises the temperature before passing it the Condenser. If your Serpentine Belt snaps your car's air conditioner will not work. Some signs of a failing air conditioner in your car would be hearing strange noises when you turn it on and fluid leaks and the age of the system. When Should I Check my Struts or Shocks?

Every time you service your vehicle, you should have your mechanic inspect the suspension system. However, there are some things you can look out for on your own.

These include:
:
Poor Ride Quality – Meaning your car is bouncier and bumps more than usual. This is a sign of a damaged suspension system.

Nose Diving – Your car lurches forward and the front points towards the ground. This could mean your shocks or struts are faulty.

Body Roll – Body roll refers to the overall feel of your car, how much the body is shifting. When you turn, it will feel like the body of your car is shifting as well.

Squats – A squat happens when you go to accelerate. Your shocks or struts should be able to compensate as you accelerate, but might not if they're faulty, resulting in your car lifting into the air.

Visible Damage – If you're ever inspecting your shocks or struts and see any dents or cuts, that could be serious damage, as the hydraulic fluid can leak out. Have your car serviced immediately.
