RIP BB King another great loss, but I'm thankful that I had the privilege of seeing you live with the late great Gary Moore.

Mr. King’s world-weary voice and wailing guitar lifted him from the cotton fields of Mississippi to a global stage and the apex of American blues.

Why is this at the forefront of Cameron's mind? The problems in this world - second fiddle are they?... (33989 signatures on petition)

Luckily it was locked, or they'd have been throwing soggy crisps at me.

Enjoying a Sunday beer after cutting the grass and hedge. Shame the smokers ruin sitting outside in the summer, but at least we don't have to put up with stinky pubs anymore.

Originally shared by +Jenny Bottley - but thought I'd share the youtube video.

Feel sorry for kids today, they don't know what it's like to live in the real world and it's our fault.  Perhaps that explains why so many don't know right from wrong and think that it's OK to treat people badly.

There again.  I could just blame Facebook like I usually do!

Wetherspoons are good, but this one has the issue of football on TV quite often which doesn't make for a pleasant atmosphere and attracts the Stella swilling chavs, especially at the weekend. Wifi is also very flaky here. On the plus side, friendly staff and good range of beers.

Recently joined and visit this place on a Friday night. Not good for real ale which is a shame but it is a club after all. However it's a great place for live music with good rock and blues bands most Fridays.

Not that appealing, poor choice of ales.

Beware the ides of March... And the price of beer in this pub! £2 for a half of old peculiar, £4 a pint! Fed up with rip off pubs, either that or everyone is made of money except me. £3.50 charge to see a Roman bath too.

Can't recommend this place. Doom bar is the only beer they have so no thanks and it is very expensive. Football on telly and not a particularly nice atmosphere. Best walk into town and go to the wetherspoon.

Extremely poor value for money, just like Bella Italia all over. Only reason to eat here is of you have vouchers. However, bear this in mind... The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. So walk on by to the wetherspoon up the road. Oh and one more thing, what a poor choice of drinks. If you like ale you are completely screwed here. Let's not talk about the serving staff, they're clearly under paid because they are just muddling through, processing customers as quick as they can, except when you want the bill.

Great selection of beers, I cannot fault that and who cares if the pub does look rundown and in need of a lick of paint. What I really dislike though is being charged over the top. There's no need to charge £4.20 for two half pints. So five for the beer and one for the stinking prices!
