Oh, a fellow creamy white man doesn't understand contemporary theater. How extraordinary. He then irrationally attaches this to a global feminist agenda, and we've all had a good laugh for the day.

Gumtree is a local start-up that really captures Australia's trading post culture and takes it online in the most authentic way. It just takes a short while to realise how it works, and once you do, it's a great (and money saving) tool to have.

PC DIY Box Hill
2 Cambridge Street, Box Hill VIC 3128
This is easily the best PC shop I have ever been to. Year after year, they maintain the lowest prices for the highest quality goods, with excellent and genuine service. The owner once even dissuaded me from spending more money at his shop because he believed that a less expensive set of products would better suit my needs at the time. He proved to be correct!

I think if you shop around Boxhill you might be able to find minutely cheaper deals, but the $1 or $2 you spend, ( and that's on a purchase of $200+ !), ensures excellent service, helping you get the right thing. So it's really worth it.

I could rage on about how good this place is, but I think you get the picture :P

I have always found it sickening that Australia invests so much money, effort, and attention, into trying to win Olympic gold medals. It's really sad that so much National Pride is based on such a useless endeavour.

Australia has a tiny population, and if we think we can continue compete with the giants of the world population in sport, we are at best kidding ourselves, and at worst, we are destroying our wealth while chasing the wind.

Imagine if we abolished the AIS, (Australian Institute of Sport), and rebooted it as the Australian Institute of Science. We would actually achieve something other than the collective stroking of our massively inflated Sports-peens.

Australia is a wonderful land, and is full of wonderful people. We don't need to waste our time and money frothing over stupid, moronic achievements like an Olympic gold medal tally any more. We can certainly celebrate the achievements of our athletes, but investing our national pride in the winning of vast sums of medals at the Olympics should not be considered favourably.

This image taken by NASA's Curiosity shows what lies ahead for the rover -- its main science target, Mount Sharp. The rover's shadow can be seen in the foreground, and the dark bands beyond are dunes....

Pretty interesting consideration!

Keeping with the Olympic Games, this is a What If the European Union sent one team to the games rather than each member state sending its own.

I am disappointed that poor eye function continues to be associated with increased intelligence by a culture that is attempting to rid it's self of dogma.

I had my best food and toilet experience of Southern Ethiopia here! I went in 2007. It had real toilets, and a very comfortable area to relax and eat food. The climate in the rift valley is considerably hotter than the highlands which adds to the comfort of relaxing with great food and beer. Many interesting tribal people's use this spot as a rest area as well, creating incredible cultural and trade interactions.

Just as the name suggests. Real delicious and nutritious food, nicely prepared, well presented in a really nice environment with friendly people. I have some dietry requirements, all of which were effortlessly covered. Highly recommended.
