Meaningful prevention rests on identifying the reasons sexual misconduct is perpetrated and the environments that foster it. Data that are focused on both victimization and perpetration creates a scientific foundation for administrative work.

If you know someone entering university soon you may want to share this with them.

There's this nutjob http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2015/10/picasso-create-50000-works-of-art/ seems to usually make a lot of sense to me.  Why is it that I keep wanting to understand nutjobs better?  I'm sure it's not about me.

As the levels of stress, difficulty, and pressure increase in the workplace, it’s even easier to make the wrong decision. This puts leaders and other decision-makers in a fight-or-flight mode. That mindset does not allow them to use the executive functions of their brains well. The result is inefficiency – for them, colleagues and clients.

You've seen photos like this. A large group of people, with images comparing the amount of precious urban space they take depending on the mode of transport they use. This new one is by Australia's Cycling Promotion Fund. This photo makes at least three important points, two of them probably not intended. In this one image you can see that: Bike racks on buses (and most other transit) can never be more than a niche market. The rack on the bus in ...

Dear Almond Growers:
We are on your side and we hope that the you remain climate change heroes because almonds are also the crop everyone hates to hate and would rather love.

The crop everyone loves to hate stores a whole lot of carbon.

Great service. Very experienced and cost conscious. The staff is well trained. I spoke to a dental student who was visiting who said it's really one of the better offices in the city.

If you have a child who is ready for life but unable to thrive in anything remotely resembling a traditional class room then you should very seriously consider Life Learning. With the help of LLA my relationship with my 15 year old went from something rife with stress and subterfuge to respectful and cooperative. LLA is the first school that Caelan and I have agreed is a great learning environment.

I have stayed at the Outlook 6 or 7 several times on business over the years. The food is great, the service is excellet, and they are very eco concious. They are a zero waste hotel with a bouldering wall and a nice hot tub and pool on site. There is live blues there (on Tuesday's), I've traveled all over the world and stayed at many 4 star hotels. I think the outlook is actually my favorite hotel. You can even rent bikes right there in the lobby so you can totally pass on the car rental (unless the snow is too deep for the bikes!).
