I love Seth Roberts energy and proactivity toward health and wellbeing. Many of you may know Seth from his popular Shangri-La diet which has

Cool vibe. Good eats. Staff are very friendly and professional. If there's one complaint it is that there are a lot of young children who frequent here (with their parents of course) and it can get quite loud as a result. This matters far less in the warm months as there is good seating outside in the back that avoids this pitfall.

I am at a loss to explain the other reviewers comments as my experience has been very positive. It's not that I doubt that Amy and Alex didn't have bad experiences but more that from my experience their reviews do not do justice to one of the neighborhoods better small businesses. Why do I say that? Three reasons: 1. I almost always find the people there to be friendly and in a way that feels very genuine. I actually look forward to seeing the people there. 2. Although I've only been to this business 6-7 times, they already remember my name, know who my wife is, etc. It makes me feel they connected to the neighbourhood in a way that many local businesses never establish. 3. Nothings worse that a poor quality dry clean that prematurely ages your clothes or an alteration gone bad but in my experience the dry cleaning is above average quality for the neighbourhood. Alterations are something I don't really have enough experience with with them so I'd pass on giving any advice there but if you live in the area and want to get your clothes dry cleaned then I would very happily recommend Chequers.
