This was some of the best food we have found in the Kingsland - Marble Falls area since we moved here. I had the Engineers Grilled Chicken Sandwich with french fries and a side order of Onion Rings. The fries are hand cut and made to order as well as the onion rings. The onion rings are large, fresh-made to order with a thick, delicious batter. There are only six to an order but that is more than enough. My wife had the Link and Pin Salad with grilled chicken and, according to her, it was also delicious. It wasn't as big as expected for an entree salad, but more than enough for her, especially with the added chicken. We will definitely be back to try the breakfast.

We've actually had three experiences with Christian Brothers Automotive in Round Rock this year. Our car is six years old with 80k miles on it so it's time to start replacing some things. In the past I have been hesitant, even scared, to go to a new mechanic because I didn't trust them not to inflate the ticket after they had my car in the shop and taken apart. (Can you tell this has happened to me before?) My experience with Christian Brothers was not like that at all. The price they quoted me on each repair is exactly what it cost when I went to pick it up. Anyway, my first visit to Christian Brothers in Round Rock was due to our air conditioner going out. We had an extended warranty on the car but the fine print said we had to take it to an authorized dealer. I spoke with Chip Jennings, the owner, and he said to go ahead and bring it in and they would work with the warranty company. And that they did. They fixed the air conditioner at no cost to us and it's worked perfectly ever since. The second instance was to get the front struts replaced. The front end would bottom out when I would go over speed bumps in a parking lot so I pretty much knew they needed replacing. The folks at Christian Brothers replaced the struts and it cost exactly what they quoted me before I left. They also checked the rear shocks and all the brakes and told me when I should expect to replace those as well. My third visit to Christian Brothers was because one of the strut mounts they replaced was making a creaking noise when I turned the wheel. That same day they replaced the strut mount at no charge. While they had the car I went ahead and had them replace the rear brakes. I was told that they would go another 3,000 to 5,000 miles but since this is our only car I wanted them to do the job while they had it so I wouldn't be without a car another time. Again, they did exactly what they said for the exact price they quoted me. The staff is alway courteous and they explain exactly what the issue is each time. And I don't worry about getting a phone call in the middle of the day telling me there are five other things that absolutely need to be replaced today. I'm now spoiled and will not take our car anywhere else for service.

The staff at Moon Dance Wine & Spirits are always very helpful and courteous and they will go out of their way to find a unique wine or liquor if they don't have it in stock. Also, if you call ahead they will put your favorite wine in the cooler so you can pick it up on the way home from work and it will be chilled in time for dinner.
