Don't have time to watch this 1hr video? It's worth it, but here are a few notes:
Foraging allows you to live longer historically.
When agriculture appears lifespan shortens, degenerative diseases increase, more epidemics, smaller human height, famine becomes more common, less leisure time, explosive population increase to name a few points of history.
The breadth of social diversity is higher in foraging societies, surplus in farming causes the first historical need for policing, land damage and natural processes break down in agriculture, agriculture turns ecosystems into people. Traditional agriculture kills off diversity, farming destroys natural ecosystems, feedback from ecosystem in agriculture is too slow, the native people lived THOUSANDS of years gardening and there is historical proof of their interconnectedness with nature. They were stewards of the land and it prospered even when they tweaked forests.
In the time between ancient time and modern agriculture, gardening was the accepted standard (pre bronze age) where mixed crops, polyculture, forest ecosystem encouraged diversity and lessened the need for any hierarchy
Takeaways: Culture does not require agriculture, foragers had art, medicine, science, most of what we have in modern culture without degrading the planet.
At least watch the last 15 minutes of this video. There are great examples and ideas that can be used again and again.
The bottom line is that our oil economy will not last forever and the faster we move to realign societies with nature, the less likely the big crash that will happen one day will not make our history forgotten like so many other societies that had a crash for whatever reason. The Egyptians, the Mayans and so many other cultures were highly evolved, but they too crashed, are we mature enough as a species to be proactive and make changes now? I believe we have the potential, but it will be a personal choice, one person at a time that will make this shift a true reality.

I was so tired of seeing the orange titan on every news page, front and center... So I used this app and it does something so simple. If it says trump, that part of the page disappears. I know what he stands for, don't need to see it again and again, so I simply muted the Trumpster with this chrome extension. My day is a little less orange and a little more hopeful.

DuPont poisoned thousands of us with C-8, and their irresponsible behavior is finally catching up to them. They've been ordered to pay 5.6 million dollars to David Freeman, who has testicular cancer as a result of their actions. But, DuPont is trying to use corporate tricks to avoid paying what they owe. If they are allowed to merge with Dow, the money will be hidden and we may never get the compensation we are owed. Even though we know they've...

Excerpt: Every American could have a job fixing America. We just need to shift our state and federal budgets, and tax structure, toward repairing bridges, planting trees, manufacturing rail and solar, cleaning the water, cleaning the air, building healthy soil, and healing the sick.

My Free Time Focus in West Palm Beach for 2015:

1. Currently involved in Art projects in West Palm Beach
2. Leading program developments for several small farms and community gardens
3. Participating in a start up called www.90secondheadshots.com

My business focus is often confidential and is usually based on contract work for social media, websites, private corporate support and creative marketing strategies.

This past week I had a friend call and say, "you are the guy I call when a startup is ready to blossom.  You are my post-stage-one guy that I know can grow a business and build marketing campaigns for a young business and I'm thankful you are available to me".  That little message gave me such a great feeling...
