Introduction
My name is Kelsey Ruger and I help companies discover and cultivate inspiring ways to create experiences people love.  The world moves at a rapid pace and I see companies struggle daily to solve problems that are in a word - wicked.  My job is to help them find the balance between design, technology and empathy to solve these problems, and produce results that people find meaningful and useful.

As a child, I was gifted with an active imagination and curiosity to spare. I was that kid who made classmates roll their eyes because I asked so many odd questions.  Since then my imagination and curiosity have lead me to a rewarding interactive career.

While I am a focused and determined leader, with great business acumen, I believe that my ability to channel my childhood interests in technology, science, art & design into the people skills needed to produce measurable results has proven far more valuable to the people I have worked with through the years. Best of all my work in development, design, user experience and leadership has taught me some indispensable lessons in building products that people will actually use.

Even though I have spent most my life building digital ‘things’ I have a profound love for all things analog. I sketch daily, use sticky notes like a mad man, and saying that I mourn the slow death of the bookstore is an understatement.

As a presenter I am passionate about sharing new ideas and unique perspectives that leave the audience a little smarter and armed with simple, practical tools to make great things happen in the workplace. I have a passion for storytelling and love using stories to make connections that people can understand and relate to. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in all areas of technology & user experience design giving me a unique perspective on helping people bridge the gaps between strategy, creativity and execution.  My presentations are designed to inspire, entertain and teach through rich media and beautiful visuals on topics like interactive marketing, technology trends, social design, creativity, innovation, human behavior and leadership.
