"We have legitimately reached the point where consumers have run out of time to consume content, making it more important than ever for brands to focus on quality as a means to separate them from the pack. Influence marketing is undoubtedly a way to earn and keep more eyeballs where brands want them, however this can only be done if the influencers can transfer the trust they have built with their community to the brands they choose to support.

Influence marketing will work for brands that understand the connection between their target audience and the influencer and they focus on working only with those that can strengthen that connection not only for the short run, but also sustainably into the future."

Hopefully influence marketing doesn't make the jump to mainstream. As nice as the idea seems, honest statistical analysis shows that so-called influencers are no more likely to have a predictive influence than any other normal person. Introduction
My name is Kelly Tirman. I am a San Francisco mother of two bilingual kids (Spanish/English), I’m a Strategist. Storyteller. Researcher. Connector of people and ideas. I was born to manage complex problems and provide strategic solutions. 

I have 10+ years experience with an emphasis on eCommerce, Social Media, and Online Marketing. This experience includes building communities, operating and maintaining global eCommerce websites and enterprise content management systems for several Fortune 500 companies (i.e. Bank of America, Walmart, Wells Fargo) as part of Enterprise Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), Product, Project and User Experience (UX) organizations.

I currently hold a full time position as a Social Media Strategist for YDesign Group however the opinions expressed here represent my own and don’t necessary reflect those of my employer.

In my personal life I use social media to discuss modern living, raising multilingual children and organic beauty.
