Prince Rogers Nelson (better known as Prince) made headlines recently when his sister filed documents claiming that the entertainer died without a will. As hard as that might be to believe, it's not all that unusual. Here are 17 famous people - including Prince - who died without a will.

It was a busy week for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). With Tax Day 2016 barely in the books, the House passed two bills focused on IRS which would restrict funding and impose a hiring freeze.

On Thursday, March 28, 2016, the Miami Dolphins selected Laremy Tunsil as the #13 pick in the National Football League (NFL) draft. Tunsil's comments after the draft selection will likely trigger additional questions into the Ole Miss football program. But I suspect it will also trigger more questions about existing NCAA rules regarding student athletes.

The U.S. District Court of Appeals affirmed a 2013 ruling that Congress never gave the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) the power to license tax preparers and the IRS cannot give itself that authority. The court made it clear that if Congress wanted to give that authority to IRS, it could. This week, Senate Republicans failed to do that, objecting to a proposal that would have established minimum standards for paid tax return preparers.

Today is 4/20. A few years ago, the counterculture holiday would have drawn blank stares from some and giggles from others. Today, however, 4/20, sometimes called National Weed Day, is so mainstream that it's trending on Twitter. Why? legalization and legalization efforts.
