Indeed. Ken offers valuable advice for contestants and start-ups in general. Very grateful to him for sharing his time and experiences.

He's an asset to the entire CRM community, not just #CRMIdol.

Good read with a few tangible examples, not the least of which are IBM's own numbers:

"IBM has, itself, made the transition with more than 400,000 IBM employees collaborating through IBM Connections. Their leaders are active daily users of social media to communicate more effectively and directly with all levels within the company. As a result, more than 67,000 communities have been developed, 475,000 files shared globally have generated more than 9 million downloads. Every day, IBM generates 35 million instant message chats."

Provocative. I do sometimes fear that we have passed that point of no return with regards to privacy.

This reminds me that it is our responsibility to keep pushing back & rebelling.

Always a fan of +deb lavoy writings and presentations. This hopeful 2013 prediction piece strikes many of the tough, but necessary challenges we are facing with communications, collaboration, and the language to better describe them. Plus, the need for better technology to support new maturity models.

Great read.
The prevailing theory is that the main reason your business is not yet “social” is that you aren’t trying hard enough to change your culture. Really? In 2013, I predict that the "culture" bluff will be...

This is another thoughtful and educational piece by +Wim Rampen  that is well worth absorbing.

If you have the slightest bit of interest in learning more about the customer journey, then you should be reading Wim's posts regularly. Masterful understanding of, and ability to communicate the value of Feedback Loops.
Yesterday evening I played around with the canvas and came up with my own Value Co-Creation Canvas.. It's far from finished or perfect, but I believe it's good enough to present to you and ask you ......

Great idea by CRM Idol contestants to share their combined knowledge.  Sorry I'll have to miss it, but hoping you won't.

Have been waiting for Alan's review and update on Podio integration with GoToMeeting. Got an added bonus with some insight about Citrix' overall vision. Good read.

Pretty damn funny - and all too sadly true.

I take a lot of flack for writing too few blog posts, but I'm feeling a bit of a glow for not falling into this trap that so many do. Better to stay silent altogether than remove all doubt that you haven't a unique thought of your own.

Blanking - it's the new SM Bandwagon Blog Spanking. :)
