hey- does anyone have any info on what Amazon has up their sleeves in the event of massive solar flares disrupting stuff? I'd imagine that they are getting prepared in some way just incase... curious to know more if anyone has info ;)
Yes ... and they let Netflix stay down for almost 24 hours over Christmas Eve and into Christmas morning.
+Kathy E. Gill Stay tuned for what will be a really interesting comment from Amazon either tomorrow or Monday about that (rumor has it they're preparing an explanation.) A lot of comments on my article about the Netflix incident cried conspiracy. The last time N. Virginia crashed it took down dozens of sites. Why just Netflix this time, and on Christmas Eve? I'm trying to keep my mouth shut, but I really don't understand this one.
