This is not what you think it is.

Remarkably well executed.

And a whole collection of intriguing ones at https://plus.google.com/collection/kV0vZ
Sky-hole-Planet

So far I was told and how I understood it (I admit the language was very exotic):

On this Little Planet, well it is more a disc, when it turns out to be Fall, little sky holes open and young trees bend to the sunny side of the planet. Since it is more a disc, it's easy, but watch your steps! ;o)

Enjoy.

P.S., why everything is twice there, I did not translate that at all.

Disruption.
Today is a good news column: There has been a breakthrough in the battle against sex traffickers, from a most unlikely direction, by upending their business model: http://nyti.ms/1gb8yjE

Fascinating and beautiful.

Plus the mention of duplicating the adjustment later 10 times. (Photoshoppers know what that means)
Thursday night's Moon looked full, but not quite. It will be full on Friday night. For this shot, I increased the color saturation so that you can see that the Moon does indeed have colors. The different colors reflect the different elements present on the surface of the Moon. I did not add any color at all. I simply teased out what it already there, but is difficult to see under normal circumstances.

I was inspired to do this by http://astroshake.com who did a much better version with his new monster scope. I decided to use my 150-600mm Tamron lens on my Canon 70D to see what I could get with different equipment. It's not up to his, but for a camera lens instead of a scope I think it's pretty decent.
