This week, Congress is voting on a bill that would let the government scrape all of your data off the backbone of the Internet, and introduce security vulnerabilities they don’t know how to fix. It’s baffling how poorly Congress seems to understand the Internet sometimes — so this week, we’re going to fight their outdated ideology with a technology so outdated they might actually understand it: the fax machine.
Congress is trying to sneak through CISA, the mega-surveillance bill, to turn every website from Facebook to your insurance company into spies for 7 different government agencies.

That means the FBI, DEA, and even local police will have all the data they want to build cases against anyone they want, including you.

They want your financial, insurance, browsing, personal communications, and more — they're going to get it unless we stop them. We've stopped CISA before, but this time's for real and we know how to do it.

#CISA   #FightFortheFuture

Honestly, it's baffling how poorly Congress seems to understand the Internet.

That was weird, but cool
Drop a basketball from a height, you've got a few flights of stairs to descend to retrieve it and you might even owe an apology to an angry passer-by. But if you give it enough height and add a dash of backspin, you can watch it say GOODBYE, FRIEND as it curves a great distance away from its intended flight path. This is the Magnus effect, where the descending, spinning basketball drags air around it, forming areas of lower pressure and high pres...

If you're in Dublin and you open up the Uber app tomorrow (24 July), you'll find you can do a little something extra than just order a taxi.

well it all sounds good to go.
Yes, those are physical invite cards for the OnePlus 2. But, that's not the only change on the way… More hardware companies have died from having too much inventory than from having too few sales. We're in this for the long run, and we firmly believe that the long-term health of our business is ...

great location, environment was just gorgeous done in a traditional courtyard layout. Its quiet and that really is a plus when you're not used to such a noisy city. Rooms are three star standard with is fine for the price. plenty of local snacks nearby, Wenshou temple just up the road and a subway exit just a short walk. I’ll be be back again

we stayed in the 5 star self catering apartments. really very nice, well kitted out, all very nice. only down side was no wifi or broadband. leisure centre is beside the hotel and quite good pool steam room sauna and a play ground for the kids. 5 min walk to centre of Kemare. we will be back. i dropped one point on the facilities for the lack of wifi as it was during the Google I/O and just couldn't get the info, sorry but it was a big one to me
