Great +Alabama Shakes show tonight! Rain threatening all night but held off until the final song of the encore. They killed it.

I just want to read this paper because I am curious. Shocked (well, not really) that leading journals have not made their back issues open access. For science!

@Google Your 'unusual traffic' detection on #IPv6 is way too aggressive to be ready for primetime. I get these notifications in our small office at least monthly, with no information provided on what triggered or how to resolve them. When the /64 (I assume?) can contain 1.8446744e+19 hosts, how do I know what to "fix"?

To top it off, we never got these when the same collection of hosts was NAT'd to a single IPv4 IP. #regression :(

This is going to be a blocker for starting to dual-stack our customers. Please fix it.

Just discovering this tonight... +Mozilla Firefox making yet another step in the absolute wrong direction. What happened to user freedom??? Getting pretty tired of the lowest common denominator target user harming my experience across tech. Won't anyone think of the nerds?

/me is disappointed that modern IM is even less federated than in the heyday of the '00s. If only we had foreseen the need for this service in the '70s before the Internet got taken over by Corporate.

DNSSEC is too much of a pain in the ass for production use. Who thought this whole key rollover thing was a workable solution?? My domain is down yet again because of it...

Cisco makes the worst decisions regarding default configuration. Bitten again by stupid defensive features that don't interoperate well and aren't obvious.

Arrgh.

rollerd from dnssec-tools has to be one of the worst documented tools I've ever used. Where are my new keys? Which IDs are currently active? Which is the new permanent key and which is the ephemeral double-signed key?

Someone please get a decent, usable script to manage DNSSEC records going... every time I have to do this I pull my hair out and then break my domain. Rollerd tells me I need to send new keys upstream, but gives no indication of which ones or where they are, and the tools don't either.

Arrgh.

WTF +Mozilla Firefox . I'm onboard with you changing your own default search engine, but don't change mine without asking.
