Yeah this movie has 80's ridiculousness written all over it, and I mean that in a good way.

Rent spikes leading to the potential destruction of the very neighborhoods whose prosperity allowed the rents to go that high in the first place. Not quite sure if the snake eating it's tail works completely, but definitely gave me some food for thought.

I was at an #80sParty  tonight and in addition to #80s  music they also played the music videos. I've known this song, but never saw the video. Fashion trends of the time definitely show.

Definitely something that could be useful for the avid fan and perhaps even the casual viewer who catches a reference.

New Fokus series

We're celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of our digital Women's HERstory Month series with another month-full of a masterfully curated playlist of artistic genius. March was technically women’s history month. However, we honor the extension of such celebrations through every point of our days, weeks, months and years. For the next few weeks we will shine some love on some artists who have been captivating our spirits with their creative processes.Twice a week #FOKUS   will feature an artist along with a sample of her work for you to revel in. We're bringing the celebration of women to you.

I get that most of this is due to capitalism being what it is, but the article hints there is an implicit collusion between the airlines a few times (oil price not leading to a reduction in fees/charges; Jet Blue coming in line with other airlines; mergers reducing competition) which makes the airline industry seem like an oligarchy.
I'm not even going to suggest some sort of regulation, even if it could be done smart and effectively. I imagine this industry is considered over-regulated currently, which should mean there is already laws and/or an agency that us meant to protect consumers. I do imagine it lacks enforcement muscle and adequate funding, not to mention business and political interests aligned to keep it that way.
I just can't help but think this is something that the average voter on all sides of the aisle can't help but being annoyed over (decreasing service coupled with increased cost while the industry remains profitable) particularly when it was shown customer service can remain high and still make a profit (Jet Blue).

This is a surprising list. Also, that it shows how little is needed to pass the test makes me wonder why so many films don't pass.

Ok, I got it. Thanks Chris; films tend to focus more on male characters than female characters. It's sad but true.

This could prove useful.

Stop typing and start talking: Did you know you can ask the #Googleapp to put your other Android apps to work? Starting today, you can say things like, “Ok Google, Shazam this song,” or “Ok Google, listen to NPR.” Explore more ways to use #OkGoogle with other apps here: http://goo.gl/KP08g9

(And of course, the fine print: make sure you have the latest version of the Google app and the Android apps that work with this feature.)

So we will have more shared universes. Could be good news with how #Deadpool is shaping up. They definitely need #FantasticFour to succeed in order for this to work.

Read why Fox is setting the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot in the same world as the X-MEN franchise (yes, that's going to happen!)...

VideoWith all of the talk this week about The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, not enough attention was reserved for the Fantastic Four reboot film that hits theaters later this year in August. After the initial teaser a few months ago, there were mixed [...]

Perfect in time for #tbt . I can't help but believe the video and sound quality would suffer, but it's a nice nod to how far we've come in terms of technology. To think, at one point #vhs  was cutting edge.

This artist is incredible.
For April Fools' Day, artist and advertisement designer Julien Knez created a handful of VHS covers for modern television shows. Speaking with Buzzfeed, Knez said, "I created them for April Fools'...
