A perspective on consent.

"Who am I to explain consent to you? I’m very square, married, living in the suburbs with my hardworking husband, and an irritating cat. But about once a month, roughly 60 people show up to our house for an all-night orgy." That's how this piece begins, and it's pretty good.

He shared that story on the Nickelodeon podcast. It was adorable. And I would love to see a story about a grown-up Doug who comes to find his childhood crush again and just decides to be friends. It's just so fitting.

On a side note, I can't help but think that Patti's life took an interesting turn every time I watch another episode of Orange is the New Black. But it doesn't surprise me that Patti would live off on her own and smoke weed all the time.

Could this be the end (in the near future) of +Marvel Entertainment publishing XMen comics?
Marvel's October comic book lineup leak hints at a bleak future for the mutants of the X-Men franchise.

Right, it's odd this comes out around the same time they announce a tv deal with Marvel & Fox for an X-Men series.

I'm a huge fan of the hypothetical 80's cast of the movie.

I actually like the way they handled this sketch. I have to imagine a few of these conversations happened in board rooms over the years.

As Futurama was one of my favorite adult cartoons and I find it incredibly quotable, this is good news no one.

Morbotron pleases Morbo. Your puny human race DID SOMETHING RIGHT FOR ONCE.

We now have a rival for the best thing we've ever seen—besides Bender steering the Planet Express Ship with his ass—It's called the Morbotron, and it's a search engine that allows people to find any Futurama quote and turn it into a meme or a GIF. Like this one: The Morbotron is, of course, named after Morbo the Annihilator (we are all vermin in your eyes, Morbo, we know), who hosts the popular shows Entertainment and Earth Invasion Tonite, as w...

Sweet Christmas this could be great!

I like that they wanted to give it a different flavor even though it is part of the Netflix shows.

Looks like we got more hip hop related info from Marvel's new Netflix series 'Luke Cage' with news that every episode will be named after a Gang Starr song.

Happy this show is airing somewhere.

CWSeed is letting Constantine fans see what they missed the first time.
Two years ago, NBC launched Constantine, an adaptation of DC Comics' magical antihero John Constantine, that lasted only a single season due to low ratings. Constantine was retroactively added to the CW's DC Universe last season on Arrow, and now CW Seed is stepping up to show fans what they missed the first time! Via KsiteTV, all 13 episodes of Constantine are now available to stream on CW Seed for free. This is very good news, especially since ...

I'd totally watch this if it came on the big screen. Damn #nostalgia.

Getting the Defenders of the Earth back together may the one magic trick that even Sacha Baron Cohen's Mandrake can't pull off.
It looks like Marvel's Doctor Strange won't be the only superhero magician on the big screen. A new Mandrake the Magician movie has lined up comedian Sacha Baron Cohen as the title hero! The news was broken by The Tracking Board, which notes that Etan Cohen (no relation to Sacha) is set to direct a more contemporary take on the character for Warner Bros. that will place Mandrake and his partner/companion Lothar in the modern era as they find them...

I have underestimated how beloved this show was. I wonder if they will do a similar trailer for the Spiderman show of the same era?

Why DID Wolverine always make those weird grunting noises?
I've been saying for weeks now that the '90s X-Men animated series is easily the best superhero cartoon ever, second only to Batman: The Animated Series. That is by no means a unique opinion either; pretty much every kid of that era thought the exploits of Professor X and his crew of young soldiers perfectly blended crazy sci-fi stories, cultural allegories, and deep character development. But that doesn't mean it isn't perfectly suited to a litt...

Unless you are a regular, there is no reason to go, ever. It was a terrible experience. I can understand the dancers giving a preference to their regulars. That would be one thing. The bartender literally would ignore us completely until well after she hung out with her regulars. After 10 minutes of attempting to flag her down my buddy asked for change. She took his money, walked straight to her group, took money from them, got them change, and then a few minutes later got around to giving my friend change. To make matters worse we can look over to the end of the bar and watch two other waitresses just leaning against the bar, chatting with each other. When I finally attempted to close my tab I waited a while while she just leaned over by her regulars just hanging out.

It's been a wonderful experience with spacious rooms. The staff has been courteous and helpful. I'd come back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, but instead of the two bed set up we requested we were given a king and sofa bed combo. They offered us a two bed room on Friday night, but we'd have to change rooms on Saturday so we chose to just keep the sofa bed rooms.
