http://nerdi.st/2hesp67
If Spider-Man's debut in Civil War didn't get you excited for his official inclusion into the MCU, well, you're dead inside and there's nothing we can do to help you. But for the rest of humanity, two new trailers dropped for next summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming for you to obsess over on Thursday night and we're here to break 'em both down for you. One American, one international, both over-stuffed with so many awesome details and easter eggs you...

Some food for thought.
After only eight hours of playing a training video games, kids with vision problems saw big improvements in peripheral vision. Try this quick vision test.

Very excited about this news. I look forward to reading more about this.

Young Justice was one of the best DC animated shows, and it's finally getting a comeback!

http://nerdi.st/2fxGn07
For three years, Young Justice fans have begged, campaigned, and binged for a new season. And miraculously, it worked! Today, Warner Bros. Animation officially announced the return of Young Justice for a third season, with the original executive producers, Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman back for the new episodes! Young Justice was based on the DC comic book of the same name, with a few characters from the Justice League and the Teen Titans as we...

I find this idea interesting.

We're actually very interested in hearing more about Tom Holland's undercover high school experience.
If you're anything like us, you may have watched the two Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers a few hundred times or so. Don't judge us! We had to make that epic trailers breakdown for today's Nerdist News. But even our preparations take a backseat to Tom Holland's efforts to become the big screen's latest Peter Parker and Spider-Man. According to Holland, he went the full Cameron Crowe and enrolled in a real high school to get ready for the role of a...

A bit of uplifting news.

Because this collection is so often full of bad news, I wanted to offer an story about society working well: a (Muslim-owned) restaurant in London which is offering free meals to the homeless and elderly on Christmas day, so that "no one eats alone." They've been asking people to spread the word, and I'm happy to help do so.

h/t +Cindy Brown
A Muslim-owned restaurant in London is offering a three-course meal to homeless and elderly people on Christmas Day so that “no one eats alone”. Shish Restaurant, in Sidcup, is asking local residents to spread the word of its offer and has put up posters saying “We are here to sit with you” on 25 December. The restaurant urged people to share its plan through social media - where the initiative was widely praised.

So I guess it will be a show. Not sure if it connects to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at all or the greater MCU. I'm so confused.

"Marvel's The Inhumans" comes to ABC in Fall 2017! See the first two episodes Summer 2017 in IMAX. http://bit.ly/2fR0jtd

This turned out to be a more insightful piece that I would have originally considered as +Cracked is where I got for lets say less information/more trivial lists.

Okay, yes, it's Cracked so somebody will object (see also: Vox, Vice, Ted, the Atlantic, Buzzfeed etc.). But the country/city pop culture formulation has been on my mind all election. Good summation.
I'm going to explain the Donald Trump phenomenon in three movies. And then some text.

Over the past few years, Cracked has released some really, really insightful pieces. While about 95% of their stuff is pop culture crap (fun crap, but still unnecessary), the rest can be pretty astounding.

Third of the four Defenders is premiering this week. I am very excited to see what they do with this series.

Looking so forward to this one. Just hope it's better at handling the mid-season pacing problems that Daredevil and Jessica Jones had.

Unless you are a regular, there is no reason to go, ever. It was a terrible experience. I can understand the dancers giving a preference to their regulars. That would be one thing. The bartender literally would ignore us completely until well after she hung out with her regulars. After 10 minutes of attempting to flag her down my buddy asked for change. She took his money, walked straight to her group, took money from them, got them change, and then a few minutes later got around to giving my friend change. To make matters worse we can look over to the end of the bar and watch two other waitresses just leaning against the bar, chatting with each other. When I finally attempted to close my tab I waited a while while she just leaned over by her regulars just hanging out.

It's been a wonderful experience with spacious rooms. The staff has been courteous and helpful. I'd come back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, but instead of the two bed set up we requested we were given a king and sofa bed combo. They offered us a two bed room on Friday night, but we'd have to change rooms on Saturday so we chose to just keep the sofa bed rooms.
