If you've followed me for any amount of time, you know I like my lists. And if you've been a client of mine, you know I like telling you to make lists of the things you like, things that make you happy and things that you'd like more of in your life. It's some powerful stuff. Give it a try.
Whether done in line, on the train, or in your head, writing lists of things you like will make you like things more—and like more things.

You get to decide what success looks like for your business. There's no shame in having a "lifestyle" business. Not everyone desires a multi-six-figure business.
These three characteristics separate the entrepreneurs from the rest of the crowd.

Ruts happen. Here are some good ways to get out of them when you're in one. Personally, I'm a fan of breaking the routine and doing a little brainstorming in a new location.

You can totally do exactly what you love to do...and do it your way! It's time to break away from everyone else.
When Brett and I were looking at homes here in Scottsdale, Arizona (well, I was waddling around six-months pregnant with my twins), we fell in love with one in particular. It was the exact style I loved—kind of a Mediterranean-Southwest mix—one level, on nearly two private acres (which, after

Avoid this location if you can. The past two times we've ordered here the experience was bad. The first time around, the online tracker wasn't working (or someone wasn't doing their job with the tracker - not sure if it's automated or manual) and we went from waiting for the pizza to enter the oven, to it was waiting for pick up in mere moments. Which meant our pizzas were congealed and cold. This time around I opted for delivery (even with the "delivery fee" that isn't for the driver). Again, my pizza was cold and my soda was warm (as in not even refrigerated). Can't say this cold gluten free pizza and a warm Coke was worth the $20 I ended up paying for it. Needless to say, we won't be using this location again. We'll stick to the Glenoak location (which is closer, but doesn't deliver).
