The restaurant is classy and the food is good. We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was almost empty but our server forgot about us anyway. It took forever for our food to arrive and the server was more interested in his customers who were eating out on the patio because that is where he stayed. We had to keep asking other employees for things and they would say "he's bringing it". We didn't know who "he" was but our server said he didn't know we needed anything. I did not leave a tip.

This place gets über packed, so make reservations. Unless yore alone, in which case, you may be able to score a spot at the luxurious sushi bar. Or the actual bar, bar. As the girl sitting next to me stated, I think you're mostly paying for the vibe of this place. It looks pretty fancy, and has decent sushi, but each time a dish came out, I would occasionally hear, "So, this is the famous____?" spoken with disappointment and incredulity. The crispy rice was pretty good, and paired perfectly with the side of ginger the sushi chefs place in front of you. The Vegetable Tempura was A-OK, although I'm not sure what all the hype was about. I got one piece of okra, string bean, yam, and an onion ring. To be fair, I only paid $5.45 for everything, since I got a complimentary order of crispy rice for checking in on Yelp. The drinks, however, are worth the price. Being a sweets-lover, I loved the Kiwi Envy, made with Bombay Sapphire, real Kiwis, and a few other ingredients. If you have the dough, the patience, and the absolute love of sushi, this is a good place to try at least once. It's got that real big-city vibe.

So GOOD!!! I was never a Sushi person until Katsuya. The Robert Roll is really good. I recommend the Baked Crab Roll for people who don't like raw fish and for people who do. (Get it as a Hand Roll) The trio roll is also something they make that is really good too, but is not on the menu, it is on request.
