And don't forget, "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten."

"Any time you have a problem, you have an extra set of resources at your disposal..." Also a strong argument for #diversity.

Leslie Miley has worked at tech giants like Google, Apple, and Twitter. He left his dream job in Silicon Valley because the diversity problems became too much.

How do you feel about the debate over “political correctness?” Some say that “being PC” is about stifling free speech – but this fun comic really puts things in perspective to show how wrong they are.

Whoa. This is pretty badass.

"Oya has an all-black cast and is based on the legends of the Orixa, traditional gods of West African Yoruban folklore. In the film, they have returned to the modern-day world as badass superheroes. The story follows Mother Oya, who inhabits the body of one of her followers to come to the rescue of a kidnapped student, and while this version of the story is only 12-minutes long, there’s a feature-length version that’ll start production later this month in Brazil!"

Will you or someone you know be near Cambridge, Ontario, on 5 March? Nevan and his family would love to see you. This little guy is a HUGE #starwars  and superhero fan. He loves all superheroes, but his favourites are #batman  and #spiderman . Show your support to a fellow fan!

Swedish artist, Emanu, published a cartoon that perfectly illustrates white, male privilege. You can probably throw straight and cisgendered into the mix, as well.

All hail planet Ireland!

Attention all geeks! Travel, Star Wars, history, and the rest!

One of the most important parallels between the history of the Skelligs and the Star Wars universe is the role that the monks of Skellig Michael played in preserving knowledge.

“This took place in a time when the old order and power of the Roman Empire had completely disintegrated and when illiterate, pagan, barbaric hordes, who were devoid of understanding the Greco-Roman heritage, were rearranging Europe. While Greece lay in ruins and Rome was being pillaged and plundered, the best of their accomplishments were preserved only in books.” (“It Takes a Monk to Save a Civilization” by Ben House)

The monks saved the art of writing as well as histories that would otherwise have been lost, just as Luke preserves the Jedi arts.

As Star Wars: The Force Awakens inches toward becoming the highest-grossing film in history, you’re might be a touch curious about how it came to be. This new video gives us a rare peek behind-the-scenes at the actual making of the film, and specifically how director J.J. Abrams chose the location for TFA’s powerful final scene.
