Here's a Beginners Guide to Email Marketing - many of our clients use www.mailchimp.com to send their customer emails - it's a nice system to use, user friendly and keeps a great record and statistics for each mailing you send. http://www.weebly.com/inspiration/email-marketing

Wondering about how you're going to get customers to your new online shop? Have a look at these ideas as a way to market your business. Remember people buy from 'people' so whatever route you chose make sure your communication sounds like it came from you and not a marketing brochure... http://ow.ly/Z1EAu

Do you think your business isn't in the right industry to harness the power of social media? Well think again! This author argues that any business can be social and I'm inclined to agree with her. @socialmediatoday http://ow.ly/Z1C8s

Although relating to the Presidential Election in the US, this quote is fab - Facebook is where the traffic is, Twitter is where the conversation is! I can certainly understand this, anyone agree or disagree from their experience? http://ow.ly/Z1yW0

This is the one message we always try to drive home in our social media training. Customers chose their own paths to purchasing products and services - and it may be different to the one you chose when you're buying products and services for yourself. And ultimately as this author says, "It’s our interactions and experiences with others – whether we know or even trust the source – that lead us to any purchase." While you can't control the purchase path, you can control to some extent the amount of effort you put into earnings your customer's trust. This is a great article with some useful takeaways :) http://ow.ly/Z1xaQ
