*This post contains affiliate links. When it comes to Valentine’s Day, most men are hardly tuned in. They tend to be more concerned with making their lady happy than getting something themselves. But even though it can be difficult to think of something to get the man in your life, there are a few basic ...

"Can a vagina fall off?" And other things I googled while getting a bikini wax.
I hope you’re sitting down for this. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am currently unable to sit down with any sort of comfort. Let me explain why – last night I had my first ever Brazilian bikini wax. Now your reaction to this, as far as I can tell, will be one of three. ...

I wrote a very LONG Star Wars Rogue One movie review. Come read!
MAY WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! So I went to the cinema for an early afternoon showing of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Friday, and I have all the feelings right now. While I hate being THAT GIRL (you know the one), I don’t know anyone who’s seen it, so I haven’t been able to discuss it ...

Have you ever made or eaten Hard Tack Candy? It's my FAVORITE holiday treat, and we made a ton last year to give as neighbor gifts. Come see the recipe and let me know what you think!
When I was a kid, every year, my mom would make Hard Tack Candy. Delicious and flavorful, it was our favorite treat at Christmas time. It was fun as a kid to pretend that each tiny morsel was a precious jewel in a treasure box. They were fun to suck on or crunch with our ...

Have you ever had to deal with dandruff? I found the solution thanks to my hairdresser! #ShampooSecret   #ad
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Head & Shoulders. The opinions and text are all mine. I am not someone who is known for having amazing hair. I don’t take the best care of it. I often bleach it or dye it strange colors, and every time I grow it ...

Do you know about the #JerseyReport? It's an awesome way to check out which teams are most popular this year. Come check out this sponsored post to see if your team is in the lead!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of DICK'S Sporting Goods . All opinions are 100% mine. While it could have gone either way with a mother from California and a father from rural Pennsylvania, there’s no denying that in our family, we wave The Terrible Towel for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Watching ...

What do you think? Is it ever okay to take a family bath? I've got a LOT of hate for this post, but I want to normalize this as much as I can. Bathing with your kids is FINE!
Lord knows that I am not the type to hold back from sharing “sensitive” photos. I got more than a little kickback the time I shared my “real motherhood” photo because it featured a hugely engorged breast exposed to my three kids. Apparently that was an unacceptable thing, despite the fact that I was exhausted ...

What do you do when you want a baby but your husband doesn't? I needed to get this off my chest.
When Mark and I first met, during our nine hour first date, the subject of kids came up. A weird first date conversation, I’ll admit, but as we had both just left long term relationships, it was on both of our minds that any prospective future might involve children. In the course of our conversation, ...

This post has been compensated by Acorn Influence and Sam’s Club. All opinions are mine alone. When it comes to holiday baking, I am a huge enthusiast. I have dreams of being Betty Crocker, satisfying the masses with my amazing confections and having to turn away producers who want to give me my own holiday ...

All in all, I have to say that I’m totally impressed with this kit. I can honestly say I’d recommend it to anyone who has good dental health and wants to see some improvement. I’ve been told that this works really well on stains and really yellow teeth and isn’t as impressive on teeth that don’t really need it. But mine weren’t that bad, and I still saw a great improvement, so I’d say it’s worth its weight in gold for those who are self conscious about the state of their teeth.
