The food here is out of this world. I had the Mi Ranchito Enchiladas with potato cheese and chorizo. I have never had better mexican food. The rice and beans are perfect too. Love it here. Staff is friendly, cheerful and accomodating. Food comes out quick. There is plenty of space, ample parking. Will be back often!

Food is good and priced right. Kids love watching the food arrive at their window and seeing employees on roller skates. We had trouble with parking on our latest visit though.

New to town and I am so glad I learned about this place while reading a Facebook discussion on the best Mexican restaurants in Lowell/Cedar Lake. Had it not been for the discussion, I would have never discovered Mexico Chiquito. The staff person I encountered was very friendly and seemed to have a more than familar relationship with several patrons. This is what a local business is all about. Having "regulars" and knowing their names. Made me feel all warm inside. Oh and the food is great too. I had the enchiladas, rice and beans. The beans had so much flavor. The chips and salsa were fantastic. I called my husband to tell him about them. They came out hot and fresh. Yum. I can't wait to go back and try out more menu items.

I have been eating here since I was a kid. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
