Saw this movable display rack in the Stanford University bookstore - shouldn't be too hard to replicate here in Asia - no? I like how you could wheel it anywhere.... #tlchat

+Kurt Wittig raved about this session on library marketing at ALA 2015 - so glad I found the presentation online.  Now I don't feel I completely missed out -- and I'm ready for us to brainstorm together, Kurt!

Library Guides in an Era of Discovery - one of the sessions at ALA back in June -- see https://storify.com/rusa_ets/library-guides-in-an-era-of-discovery-layers - stretched my mind (and thinking about our Libguides).

Now I see the accompanying +Aaron Tay article is online.  Our library isn't at this level of technical sophistication, but we may be able to mimic the Bento Box design a bit.

#tlchat #ALAAC15
The National University of Singapore Libraries converted their LibGuides v2 instance into a research portal and incorporated a “bento box” search interface—that is, an interface where results from multiple systems or categories are compartmentalized by system or category, like a Japanese ...

A few photos from the library (combined primary and secondary) of Shrewsbury International School, Bangkok, when I was there last weekend for the 3rd annual Librarian Knowledge Sharing Workshop #lksw2015 Thanks, Kim Beeman, for being such a great conference organizer and host.  Presentations here: http://blogs.shrewsbury.ac.th/lksw/presentations-2015/

A few photos from the two libraries at NIST (New Int'l School of Thailand) -- a pre-conference tour of #LKSW2015 in Bangkok last week.  Stephanie Wallis, the head of libraries, showed us her brand-new secondary library.  I hope the revolving walls/shelves of her teaching space come across in the photos.  She gets a major star for that innovation.  And once she gets whiteboard glass on the backsides, it will be even more useful.

A few photos of the ISB (Int'l School of Bangkok) libraries which we toured as a pre-conference to #LKSW2015 last week.  Mischele Jamgochian and Nat Whitman were very gracious.  Mischele's library (which I last visited in 2009) is an example of what a good architect can add to a renovation project.  Here is a link to a Flickr set of photos I took in the same secondary library in 2007:  https://www.flickr.com/photos/thelibrarianedge/sets/72157600046180111/
