I am the owner/ operator of Beauty and the Book @ The Nail and Hair Shed, the ORIGINAL Hair Salon/Book Store located in Hawkins, Texas that is the Headquarters of my 550+ book clubs, The Pulpwood Queens, the largest "meeting and discussing" book club in the world!
Introduction
Besides running my shop and book club, I am the Director of Youth Ministries at The First United Methodist Church of Hawkins, Texas and also work at The Nail and Hair Shed in Hawkins, Texas.  I am also the author of "The Pulpwood Queens' Tiara Wearing, Book Sharing Guide to Life".
Bragging rights
I am the only two time Lucile Pannell Award winner for outstanding children's programming, the recipient of the James Patterson Pageturner Award, two time Rotarian of the Year, and most recently was award The Dorothy Spotlight Award given by The Opera House Theater Players for helping promote their theater group and my hometown of Jefferson, Texas.
