Next I'll make apple pie, but mostly because I want something delicious to go with my coffee.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend xo
Feeling energised, so hopefully that's an indicator more writing is to come.
Wishing everyone an awesome weekend ahead :D xo

One evening Katerina Simms washed up on the sandy shores of Casablanca. You see, she started life as a mermaid. And like every little mermaid, her tail dropped off once she came of age, revealing a shiny new pair of legs.
Real world living didn’t come easy to Katerina. Aside from the fact that she struck the Titanic on her way to shore (pfft…and they say it was an iceberg), Katerina was also distracted by the pretty colors, music and sparkly things that life on land offered. Her mind was constantly gone with the wind, and she often forgot about the simpler things in life (such as cooking and managing her big hair). So she was eventually forced to use the notebook computer entrusted to her by King Harry - the overseer of the mermaid commonwealth.
At first the notebook served merely to remind Katerina of when to do her singing and watch YouTube videos, but in time it became a catalogue for her mental ramblings. These ramblings soon became stories of a romantic nature, aided by Katerina’s fascination for dirty dancing.
As the years rolled by, Katerina began to wonder if she was in fact a pretty woman, and troubled by the idea that her current choice of fashion might not be all that contemporary, she went shopping. This was where she met Pavlov the Ukrainian Viking/ Software Developer. He convinced Katerina that true love did exist, and she was in fact a pretty woman.
So there you have it, the story of Katerina Simms. These days she resides in Pavlov’s expansive abode, her notebook has changed to a MacBook Pro, and she pretty much lives on Pavlov’s fold out couch. Here she spends her days typing her mental ramblings and turning the characters that fall in love in her head into books people can read.
P.S: She still sometimes communicates with friends in the mermaid world. The King most recently told Katerina a fascinating story of a time when Harry met Sally, a dyslexic seal with a love for everything pink. :D
P.P.S: If you noticed that this biography contains more than a few titles for well-known romantic movies, let me know how many you counted and I'll tell you if you're right.
