Do you find yourself saying "come on, quickly" a lot? Do you rush around trying to get everything done? I've been doing this a lot lately and it's got me thinking...

When we rush, we don’t think clearly and we’re not in “now” moments. We’re all wrapped up in our head and our to-do list, trying desperately to tick everything off – stupidly believing that if we can just get x, y and z done today and believing it means we won’t have to rush the next day, that things will settle after we just get these few things done.

I’ve come to realise rushing is an addictive habit. You chase the elusive carrot dangling right in front of you – I’ll get to the bottom of the washing/ironing pile, I’ll clear my inbox today, I’ll finish filing all the bills and invoices, I’ll just write this email and then I’ll go to bed… but there’s always something that requires your urgent, immediate attention. And the result is that you push just that little bit further into your relaxation time, you can get done and ticked off your list. What’s relaxation time I hear you ask?! I know, I know… but humour me for a minute while I put the pieces together for you. Click through to see how those pieces fit together and what you can do to quit the rushing addiction.

:: 7 day no complaining challenge? ::

Hell yes!
Why didn't I think of this? Wait, is that a complaint about not being clever enough?? Who doesn't need a bit more focus on gratitude and a little less on the little problems - especially since we should just walk around #feelingblessed to live in the lucky country 😄 #firstworldproblems check it out

It’s that time of the year again when parents begin calling and asking for appointments for children with ear infections. I’m on maternity leave but still help them out (yeah I know – I’m super nice and love helping people, my patients’ really appreciate it and their children are not in pain so everyone’s happy!) Here’s 5 of my favourite natural remedies for ear infections: http://buff.ly/1QjzBcZ
