Melted cheese is predominant at this small candlelit wine bar with Mediterranean flavors.- Google
"The Chicken Caponata and the Babaghanoush stood out as the best dishes."
"Wine and cheese bar that is VERY reasonable and a lot of fun."

Came here for my birthday never having had fondue or tapas, but I can say that both selections were absolutely delicious. The prices are a bargain, portions perfect, and the atmosphere charming and private. Our waiter was a sweetie & gave thorough suggestions for entrées. Seriously, check this place out!! You won't regret it.

I love this place. For their wine and cheese selection . The appetizers are great too. If you are looking for a Friday evening wine place, think no more. Please get the mezze selection .

Nice little place for Mediterranean food. Always crowded

While I do appreciate fondue and cheese in all its forms, both times I've visited this place it felt like we were being terribly neglected by the server. The fondue blends, however, were pretty good, as were the hummus appetizers.

This place is straight-up crazy delicious, and in my old 'hood to boot. The spicy sopressata is SO good. The Uncle Joe sandwich is, like, in the top five sandwiches I've ever eaten in my life. (Now that I've said that, I kind of want to make a list of all the best sandwiches I've consumed. Fun for a rainy day!) The market portion of the store is nice as well. I picked up a jar of sundried tomato paste from Italy that has lasted me well over a year, and that provides a nice compliment to bread and pastas. You could easily spend an hour just wandering the aisles. I also just have a really nice memory of Sorriso: walking here to pick up sandwiches and then having a picnic in Astoria Park on a warm summer day. Try it!

I got borderline food poisoning with their turkey Meatballs... Stale food... Did not like it that much... But for ambience, good service...

Food is good. Wine is good. Bit of a tight squeeze inside. Have had the skewered meats.
