Atlas Moth (from the +Museum of Life and Science butterfly house). I love how the wing tips look like the heads of predatory birds!

UPDATE: apparently, what appears to me to be a bird head, is actually deemed to be the head of a cobra snake. To increase the believability of the camouflage, the moth--when in danger--will drop to the ground and "writhe" around!

why only the tip of its course, if the other does not look amazing?

+Andrea Glass thank you. I want to buy them to eat rather than grow.

When you are out walking, biking, and hiking, be sure to keep your eyes open! Stay curious! I glimpsed this little mud turtle out of the corner of my eye while bicycling on the American Tobacco Trail and went back to see more closely. Take the time to stop and explore! Note the pine pollen! #ScienceSunday

The other way that behavior can occur is if one of you has the other blocked, but I doubt that's the case!

Another turtle (this time a Box Turtle) found on the American Tobacco Trail while I was bicycling. This one is playing hide-and-seek.

get him drunk, he'll come out of his shell. Then you can go get some tattoos and hit up the stripper clubs.

As Henry says, this video has nothing to do with physics (but, if you haven't seen any of his +MinutePhysics videos, you should check them out). Instead, it's a story of life in Venezuela. Why did he choose to do this? Because of relationships. He has a colleague there (who does animation for +MinuteEarth ) and this is all about understanding the day-to-day challenges that we only see glimpses of on the news. I too have a friend from Venezuela and I too wonder about how this will unfold and affect him. I was in Venezuela many years ago and have fond memories; I hope that change will come about so that the people who live there can begin to create better memories.

This has nothing to do with physics, but I thought it was important so I made a video about it: uprisings in Venezuela. http://youtu.be/kmvAdRntWH8

+Bryan Wright Yes, Indeed! I was wondering who would get the identification right first! I think I was able to get this pic because I snuck up from behind!
