Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla write in their update to contributors to the (now on YouTube!) film:

"The film completed 4 weeks in theatres last week. It's been an unbelievably incredible journey for us. From not having anyone by our side when we started, this film has gone on to:- - Become the largest crowfunded documentary in India.
- Receive support from Sundance, DocSociety, IDFA Bertha, Asian Network of Documentaries and a host of other amazing organisations.
- Premiere at TIFF and play at the BFI London Film Festival and IDFA amongst others.
- Fight and win against the Indian censor board.
- Become Vice Docs' first ever acquisition.
- Become the most commercially successful documentary at the box office ever in India.

We have all walked a long way here. This film was our attempt at having a political dialogue through the medium of cinema. We received unprecedented love and support from people like you. We'd like to keep the dialogue going and it's important that the film remains accessible to anyone who wants to see it.

Though we had offers from various leading video streaming websites, we decided to release it on YouTube to ensure maximum reach. Moreover, we want audiences to enjoy this cinematic experience for free.

This film, more than any other film we'll ever make, belongs to the community."

A friend from college just started a new YouTube Science channel.

It's fun, clear, to the point and the content choice is brilliant. Give it a watch people. :)

#LearningAboutLearning

"So as a society, we have a question: All this new productivity is happening because of this technology, but who participates in it? Is it just going to be that very top of the pyramid, in which case, what does everyone else do? How do they operate? Or do we do something that's more aspirational? Do we actually attempt to invert the pyramid, where you have a large creative class, where almost everyone can participate as an entrepreneur, an artist, as a researcher?"
