Kanye West’s Unreleased Demo Tape From 1997 Emerges

So.... Is this legit? Or an elaborate troll?

Back in December of 2014, an eBay user actually put this demo tape randomly up for auction. It grabbed a measly $52 after nine bids.

Quick sanity check for anyone running Android N preview - Instant Articles don't work on the Facebook app right? Have you stopped seeing any?

EDIT: looks like it. They must only be targeting up to Marshmallow. :/

We have ESPN with our FetchTV so we're good with the games. The NBA App is great for post game stuff though.. Or used to be.

Amusement park rides from the early 20th century weren't exactly known for their safety. But if this terrifying attraction from 1919 had ever been built, it probably would've been the most dangerous ride ever constructed.

That’s right, Twitter has now taken over my entire timeline to display 8 posts that I ‘might like’. Hey motherfuckers, you know what I might like? To see a chronological list of tweets in my timeline so I can follow what’s happening in the fucking OKC game.
I had to leave work early on Wednesday and with just over a quarter left of the Thunder vs the Warriors game I thought I'd stream the rest of the contest on my commute. Sadly, I had no such luck as the NBA app doesn't stream video on Android N at the moment (sadface).

Just moved to a third party app as well. Between promoted tweets and "you might like" I couldn't find my timeline. Ridiculous.

This is insane.

“We’ve never seen an attack where a nation-state has gone in and stolen money,” Mr. Chien added. “This is a first.”

I mean calling DPRK a "nation state" is stretching the definition of both "nation" and "state"

The editor of the new Ghostbusters film is Brent White. White has edited four of Judd Apatow’s features (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, This is 40), five of Adam McKay’s (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, The Other Guys, Anchorman 2) and three of Paul Feig’s films (The Heat, Spy, Ghostbusters), along with a few episodes of Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared. Brent White is, in many people’s opinion, the secret weapon of the entire Apatow clique, and arguably responsible for the particular comic timing that all of those films share.
There’s been a lot of discussion on the Internet regarding the larger cultural forces and attitudes that are congealing around Paul Feig’s…

Worth mentioning that almost to a tee a universal complaint of Apatow's films in particular are they ran 20 minutes too long. But am hoping this turns out well!

Great piece from Kirby, as usual.

Key moment at 6:22 - "This was an intentional choice".

There are NO new stories. It's all in the telling. For serious. There's like 7 story arcs that can exist, and everything you've ever seen or read (or ever will) is a variant on one of those themes.

Stop poking me in the eye!
My daughter, for as long as she's been able to move her arms and grab things, has held our ears for comfort. Even now - she's two and a half - she'll demand EAR! EAR! if she needs to 'recharge', as we call it.

I don't want to alarm you but my son (7) has still been known to grab and pull ears... no corneal damage to us, though!

Excellent location, very short walk to the beach, right above a Coles, and shopping all around. Rooms are a little bit and miss, our first room was terrible (scuffs on the walls, generally dank) but after we moved the second room was much better. Rooms are well appointed, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave etc. Pool complex is really, really great. Very big pool, sand bottom, shallows for the kids, spa, playground, and bbqs. Indoor pool also with gym and saunas. Impressive and relaxing.
