Thomas Allen takes old pulp books & Xacto cuts the illustrations to make striking scenes. (Forewarned: some sensuality) I'm not sure how I feel about cutting books... these are a finite resource... but the art is very cool.

The Chestache. Hysterical, amazing, and inventive illustration by Sam Spratt.

This gushy article compares Lynda Barry to the Dalai Lama.

Too funny. A knitted brain hat. How many times to do you get to use that phrase?

Asaf Hanuka's comic "The Realist" is always amazing. Today it is very sad.

The commanding general of the victorious forces in Europe during World War II, Dwight Eisenhower had this to say about war after he became President...
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children....This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from an iron cross." -- Dwight David Eisenhower
