The Karen Green Foundation is a Nottingham based charity. Founded in 2012 our purpose is to raise funds to provide excellent quality holiday accommodation for families of those suffering the effects of leukaemia and other related diseases. This accommodation is designed to allow families to “get away”, to share time and to make memories together in the face of illness or hardship. We understand that during these periods it can be difficult to access time away and we aim to provide this in the easiest possible way. All our fundraising activities are directed towards this aim, to improve in some small way, families experiences in extremely challenging times.

Chris Mills & Andy Miller will be taking part in the Great Notts Bike Ride on 22 June for the Karen Green Foundation

Chris Hill successfully completed the Dragon ride for the Foundation "A quick update for you, I successfully completed the Dragon Ride on Sunday in 10 hours and 41 bottom numbing minutes. The ride was as tough as I expected it to be but enjoyable at the same time.

The total amount raised so far is £530 but I'm expecting this to increase as the week goes on, I'll report in my final total when I provide a few words for the blog.

Thanks for the wristbands, Colin, I wore one on the day and had to look down at it several times for motivation during the endless climb up the Black Mountain.

Back in touch again soon."
