While I'm trying to recover from my head injuries, fractures and getting ready for surgery,, I'm really missing my photography and sharing it, so I've been looking through some of my old images and saw this one. This was from a workshop in the Grand Tetons at 4 AM. It was a 30-sec light-painting exposure, and someone who didn't know we were there walked into my frame with his flashlight during those 30 sec, and this was the cool result!

Brag Alert! So, I haven't been on G+  in - ok, forever - but I had to share this! My computer genius son, who attends a well-known university (____ Inst of Technology), was visited at his dorm hall last night by STEVE WOZNIAK  - at my son's personal invitation! Woz drove 1.5 hours out of his way to visit him at his after speaking at another venue! In reply to my son's "thank you for visiting" email to him, Woz wrote back, among other things, "CSH was the highlight of my trip!" So, my son was recently grand prize winner in Google's int'l coding contest, and now he was visited personally by Woz, co-founder of Apple! Am I proud or what? Grin. (That's my son's back in the 1st photo, listening to Woz talk in his dorm hall.)

Karen, I'm lucky as there are only some days when I have to count spoons.  Those are the days that catch me completely off guard and it's difficult.
Good luck and may God comfort and bless you  in helping you with your struggles.

Thanks, Wray! They're still talking about it, although it's old news by now. Lately, Google has been sending him to, all expenses, to London, Mountainview, etc., MIcrosoft just jetted him out to Seattle for an interview and he'll be starting his paid 12-wk internship with them in a few weeks, and then starting his Google internship next yr (Google doesn't use freshmen as interns, but they did pay him $5k last summer to do a coding project). Is Apple next? Space X and/orTesla? The're all on his list! [Ok, end of mom brag! - Hey, it's almost Mother's Day; if not now, when! LOL]

Love this watch face generator by +Paul Rode! First one is moi, 2nd is a photo I took in the Grand Tetons, and the 3rd is when I'm in "professional" mode! Nice job, Paul!  (iOS users, don't forget to reset notifications after installing and loading new watch faces (some work without being reset, but others don't. Yet, anyway.)

Country music and nature-loving Philly photographer. It's the lens, baby!
Introduction
Born in Montreal, I've lived most of my life on the East Coast of the US, mainly outside Philadelphia. I spend much of my time building my photography business, which is based in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Services offered include special events, portraits and head shots, real estate photography (particularly home interiors and exteriors for MLS listings as well as construction progress photography), teaching photography to groups and privately, special projects, scanning & restoration services, and more.

For my own photographic pleasure, I love nature photography, and being an outdoors person who loves hiking and other outdoors activities, this is a fantastic combination for me. I also enjoy photographing urban street scenes and people - especially colorful people of all ages and backgrounds. I sometimes show my creative side by rendering images artistically. I dabble in photojournalism, and until I resigned, I was the photography editor for a local newspaper, as well as staff photographer and regular columnist about - you guessed it - photography!
Bragging rights
My youngest son recently convinced Steve Wozniak (co-founder of Apple!) to visit his dorm house at college, and he was later interviewed on ABC news because of it!
