Such an important conversation!
CBC journalist Kathy Tomlinson is a key figure in our reporting into Amanda Lang's conflicts of interest. Until this point, she has not provided CANADALAND with comment.  Now she has agreed to share her side of the story.

Excellent: As a style of thinking, design thinking is generally considered the ability to combine empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality to analyze and fit solutions to the context (Wikipedia).
Solving a problem using design thinking requires just a few ingredients that nearly everyone has (or can develop): the creativity to generate lots and lots

By far, our favourite campground in Algonquin. Quiet, beautiful little lake that always has loons, which you can kayak or canoe the perimeter in just over an hour, and there are no motorboats allowed. No cell service makes for a quiet visit. The beach is perfect for playing with the kids. The little private beach just a little ways away from the main beach, which is okay for dogs, is a much sandier and quieter beach too. We've seen bears two times that we've stayed here, so no mucking about with leaving food out. Serious business there. Great access to Minnesing, a technical and challenging mountain bike trail, just a hop, skip and a jump to the Portage store, awesome access to the private lodges for special meals, canoe drop off at the beach...yup, you can beat this spot in Algonquin.

I cannot get over how delicious this food was. Regardless of fact that it's ALSO gluten-free and vegan, it was unbelievable. The house salad and buckwheat savoury crepe that I had for lunch was utterly delicious, and the homemade lemonade was something like I've never tasted before. I was just simply, blown away. Can't wait to go back...

This is easily one of my favourite places in Stratford. Anne has built an amazing business, and the food and coffee are just outstanding. I love the special dinners that are also hosted here, and how they highlight local artists and talent on site too. Free WiFI.

By far, this is my favourite spot in Stratford. Jessie and Tim are the team that have put this place on the map in Stratford. In no time at all, they've become the go to destination for outstanding food, and an outstanding overall experience. From their hosted Farmer's Dinners, to their Friday night specials, Nosh Menus, and special themed events, their attention to detail is quite extraordinary. You know you're going to have an amazing meal when you hear the chef speaking to the farmers, right in the restaurant on a frequent basis. I recommend everything on their menus, and their steak tartare is the best I've tasted, ever.
