Who remembers 'The Great Snow' of 2010? It didn't feel very great when I was stuck indoors for two weeks, but it was very pretty and had an otherworldly magic about it . . . Anyway, the poem I've chosen to post on my blog was inspired by that most wintry of times and is called 'Icicles'. I'll put up the link here and on my +K. S. Moore profile, tomorrow.  Meanwhile, here's a picture from the field opposite my house (taken in 2010). This guy didn't know what to make of the snow!

I'm planning to post one of my winter poems on my blog, this week. What inspires you to write during winter? Is it a good season for words?

Frosty mornings have got me thinking about the thrill of winter and its strange, enchanting solitude. Feeling inspired to do more #writing.
