I really should say that my latest children's book is just out and I'm appearing with it at the Barnes Children's Literature Festival this weekend. I'm one of two #indieauthors at the festival - among a sea of celebs :-)  It's a fun page-turner for ages 7-9 in print or eBook on Amazon, iBooks, Kobo (inc images!) Just experimenting with #Wattpad where I've posted the first four chapters of a new children's book for feedback. Aimed primarily at ages 7-9 please do share & encourage comments. I'll post more chapters soon depending on feedback! This cover is temporary but gives a feel for the story :-) Here's the link >> http://bit.ly/WalterMagic #kidlit

I've just posted an amazing interview with best selling children's and YA author Cornelia Funke who took back US and UK rights when she didn't want to change one of her books. She is inspiring on creativity as well as single mindedness. If you write for children or are an #indieauthor I hope you'll enjoy!

Introduction
I've worked as a copywriter and web content consultant for almost 20 years, latterly on major UK government projects. My website at www.wellsaid.co.uk says it all!

I also write children's fiction. I self-published The Secret Lake in September 2011 and my second book Eeek! (about a soccer-mad runaway alien...) in March 2012.  You'll find my books on most major online store websites including Amazon,  B&N and Waterstones... both have been very well received :)

Digital publishing and social networking have opened up a whole new world of opportunities for authors to get their work out to the wider world and I'm really excited to be taking part in that change!
