I love it that Basecamp is going against the grain and publishing a magazine that's not about technology.
The tagline for The Distance declares that it is "a new online magazine about hard-working, long-lasting businesses and the people behind them".
Some content marketers might argue that this is not content marketing. But I think this is a genius move by Basecamp.
By publishing a magazine featuring companies that have been in business for more than 25 years, Basecamp is saying that it is a company that cares about the long-term.
