New cat sim/survival game on Kickstarter. Looks like it will be interesting.  I was really tempted to spend the money and have my cat Steve in the game, but he'll have to settle with Steve The Cat in the credits.

Blep? Turns out there's a word for something incredibly adorable.
The Blep: An adorable phenomenon that involves the protrusion of a cat's cute pink tongue.

Huh! Never heard the term before. Very adorable, though, agreed!

Holy hell... Mojang sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion. While I'm crazy happy for Notch and his team, I mean its incredible for a little indy company to make that much money - I'm really concerned for the future of our beloved Minecraft.

YAY!! Verizon decided not to throttle high bandwidth use customers!

+Caleb Roosa not sure if this applies to you or not now since you've been switching around but it seems like all across the board carriers are doubling the bandwidth for the cost.

From a Forbes article:
"Yes, Verizon also announced that if you have one of the old unlimited plans, you won’t be subject to “throttling” by the carrier no matter how much data you use. The company had planned to slow down data speeds beyond some limit as T-Mobile does on many of its regular plans that have a sort of “soft cap” on how much you can use. But Verizon instead said: “We’ve greatly valued the ongoing dialogue over the past several months concerning network optimization and we’ve decided not to move forward with the planned implementation of network optimization for 4G LTE customers on unlimited plans.” In English, that means no throttling."

AT&T started yet another round of mobile price cutting, this time focused on groups and families using lots of data. That's good news for heavy smartphone customers, who can now stay online twice as long for the same price. But it also means some folks still sticking with unlimited plans now have options to save money while likely being able to use as much data as they ever have.

Mutts are usually so much healthier and live longer lives. I think special needs rescues make the best pets because they are typically incredibly sweet natured. Our cat Steve is the sweetest, his issue just makes us love him more.
