"A bubble, it is. But will it erode the real capital of investors overnight, particularly the retail ones? Perhaps, not.

Interestingly, there is reasonable sanity prevailing in the public markets as the tech bubble, at large, is being driven by the surge in late stage VC financings. It is taking much longer for tech companies today to go public, unlike 2000 when several rushed to go public before any revenues. And as the number of IPOs has reduced significantly, more IPO companies are profitable than ever before."

Dabbawalas inching on FedEx?

Solving the perennial "last mile" conundrum!

I always believed that FedEx's "hub and spoke" delivery model came from Mumbai's Dabbawalas. Now, Dabbawalas are competing with FedEx?

"The dabbawalas of Mumbai are one of the most reliable and trusted brands in the city. Their unique delivery system has been smooth, reliable and has survived the test of time - even under extreme conditions."

BTW, there are many documentaries about Dabbawalas on the web, including BBC.

Throwaway computing? Weren't we talking about toasters becoming "computers" with an IP address? Now, computers are becoming toaster-like (or veggie juicer-like), an appliance.
Summary:Google's latest Chromebooks -- made by appliance makers -- highlight how PCs can cost less than a juicer for your veggies. Windows will follow.

Microsoft Internet Explorer, a browser familiar to many and loved by few, passed away today after a long illness. It was 19 years old.
Bowing to the inevitable, Microsoft admitted today that it had decided to remove IE from life support. (IE will, however, continue to receive tech support through at least 2016.) IE is survived by Windows, Office, and the Microsoft Mouse.
Microsoft Internet Explorer passed away today after a long illness. It was 19 years old. We will always remember it, no matter how hard we try not to.

This is a very useful tip. It applies to all apps, not just Uverse.
Some apps take advantage of background data. Jack Wallen shows you how to disable this in certain apps and prevent your data from being gobbled up.
