We chose to work with this company because of Phil's reputation of maximizing SEO rankings and we also wanted to use a local agency. We appreciated working with his associate, Toni, on the content and also relied on her expertise and patience guiding us through the design process. We like the website's updated look and ease of finding information and our rankings have improved as promised!

Our experience with Kansas City Website Design & SEO has been extremely positive. My web designer, Toni, is both knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. While the site was being built, their responsiveness to my suggestions was top-notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-impact, professional website.

We had a great experience with KC Website Design. Phil was great in taking our concept and putting together the look and feel we wanted. The implementation was handled exceptionally by Toni. She was always responsive, easy to work with and did a great job keeping things moving along.

The KC Web Designer team has been very professional, patient, and responsive during our website building process. Phil and Toni were and are still interested in making our site the best that it can be. We still come up with questions even though our site is now live and Phil and Toni haven't let us down in coming to the rescue. We would recommend KC Web Designer to those interested in building a professional site from the ground up.

Called for support of a website they developed 3-4 years ago. Phil was great and helpful and knew just where to lead me. Also, talked me through a couple tips to keep my website safe and secure. Great company, great guy.

I have enjoyed my time working with Kansas City Website Design & SEO. We work with multiple mutual clients, and Phil is always easy to communicate with, helpful if I have questions, and quick to respond. They are a great search engine optimization company and design visually interesting and easily navigated websites for a wide variety of businesses.

This is the best primer on the topic and illustrates that offering strong content is a great way to attract business and present your business as an expert on a topic. Kudos to Phil on this contribution that is better and more up-to-date than a Dummies book.

Looks like the mobile ranking algo is getting cranked up another notch, yet again...
Google today announced it is rolling out an update to mobile search results in May that "increases the effect" of its mobile-friendly ranking signal. The goal is to "help our users find even more pages that are relevant and mobile-friendly," though the company didn't share exactly how much of an impact it expects the change to have.

Your website cannot suck, especially if you are a digital marketer.
There is an old proverb about a shoemaker who was so busy making shoes for his customers, that he had no time to make shoes for his family. The moral of the story is that we should not neglect our own house while we take care of business. In the business world, however, many marketers …

This is so true: Expensive advertising creates demand. Inbound marketing and SEO steals that demand as it filters back through the Internet. Use your competitors' marketing budget against them.

It sure does feel like a Penguin update right now...anyone else feeling it?
I think we are on the verge of seeing Penguin 4.0 launch soon at Google - I think we are just about there. I know, I know, it's been a while. I have seen some chatter in the industry, on and off cha

Per Google: "Today we are launching a new section of our Transparency Report to track the progress of encryption efforts—both at Google and on some of the web's most trafficked sites.
