We do not do vinyl wraps. A sign shop that wraps cars, motorcycles, etc could probably do a bicycle.

Glossy orange and black Cannondale Synpase. It's for a Oklahoma State Cowboy alumni. The orange has a pearl finish. You can see how a pearl changes how an orange looks in different lighting. Custom painted in North Carolina. Photo gallery: http://bit.ly/SynOKST

Matte and glossy finishes on bikes have been purely aesthetic. Until now. Mark sent us his new S Works Venge. He loves matte, but rides his bike in the trainer, so he sweats and sometimes hits his top tube, so we made it glossy. It's easier to clean and touch up.

Cyclists are starting to get fed up with spectators getting in their way at the 2014 Tour de France. After seeing what happened on Sunday, it's obvious that the cyclists' complaints are valid...

Saved himself and other riders.
He had no where to go but through him. I would do the same.

It happens in split seconds and so are the decisions that are made.
Spectators must be aware and courteous to the event and must keep a safe distance and buffer zone to the riders and roads. Its called respect and awareness.

Spectators must be aware when stepping out onto the road. You have a peloton hurtling towards you and that includes individual riders. If you cant see that and be aware.....your either blind, operating a camera without being aware how close things get (that's why there's a zoom function...even on phone cameras) or don't care because you HAVE TO GET A MEMORY PIC!

Bad luck for the spectator...hope he's ok and spun himself back around, but he did the wrong thing at the wrong time. Lesson learned.

While we do a lot of crazy paint jobs, sometimes people forget we paint the crisp and clean designs too. Here's the latest to come out of our shop. Matte black / white pinstripe graphics. It's a 55cm. Details: http://bit.ly/JK782

Here's something we're currently working on -- This Jack Kane has polished aluminum highlights on the frame. The top tube chain links are display the aluminum. The rear stays are exposed carbon. The finished bike is going to be sharp.

One Museeuw you don't want to miss. This "Lion of Flanders" has something to roar about. Red with a gold pearl, silver overlay, and black graphics. What do you think?

Custom Painted Bicycles
Introduction
Jack Kane Custom Racing Bicycles is a professional custom paint and road-proven bicycle company.

-Since 2001, Kane bikes has been providing cyclists and triathletes of all levels with one-of-a-kind paint jobs. Every bike that leaves our shop is painted for a specific rider. Nothing comes stock.  We work with you to pick the right components.  For those on a budget, we can create great builds for you!

-We believe that when you invest thousands of dollars into a bicycle and ultimately your well-being, you should not have to accept or settle for the mass-produced designs.

-We believe in a collaborative design partnership with our riders. It is more than just designing a rider’s bike and then picking the components he wants. Anybody can do that. You come to us because we'll make your riding experience better. We do this through superior attention to detail from the frame selection all the way to the ride qualities of a type of tire.
