Kaloyan Yordanov is a Bulgarian qualified lawyer with wide-ranging experience in corporate, banking, real estate and commercial transactions, member of the Sofia Bar Association.
Born in Veliko Tarnovo, where he graduated from the High School of Natural Sciences "Vasil Drumev", Kaloyan then enrolled in St. Kliment Ohridsky University in Sofia, where he graduated with a Master of Laws degree (LLM). He attended two summers of the Work and Travel USA Student Program, working in the United States. Kaloyan also graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at New Bulgarian University.
Following graduation from the law university, Kaloyan began practicing as an in-house solicitor at Bulgarian Home Loans, a UK mortgage advisory company, where he was the manager of a team of three lawyers.
From March 2008 to January 2015, Kaloyan was an associate attorney with the biggest international law office in Bulgaria, CMS Cameron McKenna.
Since January 2015, Kaloyan is a senior associate with Deloitte Legal Law Firm.
Kaloyan's areas of practice include Corporate Law (including M&A, Corporate Reorganisation and Bankruptcy), Banking Law, Commercial Law and Real Estate, representing various large international and domestic clients.
Kaloyan is also a founding member of Multi Kulti Collective, a nonprofit organisation that aims to encourage the cultural exchange and tolerance towards the different immigrant and refugee cultures and to support the integration of foreigners in the Bulgarian society.
