Leatherman's new Tread is an industry first: a serious multi-tool that's worn on the wrist. Each link on the band includes two to three functional tools, for a total of 25 usable features.

I LOVE this symphonic rendition of Chandelier from Sia, as performed on SNL

It's really cool that they found a way to express the song through sign language, and did it in a way that didn't seem dry!

Been saying this. The child safety nutters are making it to where kids will injure themselves with the simplest things because they haven't been taught how to use it properly.

"Next time you're about to throw out an appliance, don't. Take it apart with your kid."
At TED U, Gever Tulley, founder of the Tinkering School, spells out 5 dangerous things you should let your kids do — and why a little danger is good for both kids and grownups.

A microscope uses a series of lenses to magnify an image, revealing lifeforms invisible to the naked eye. You can make your own microscope at home using a laser pointer and a droplet of water. In this image you can see the shadows of hundreds of human cheek cells, magnified and projected onto a wall by the refracted light from a green laser. Find out how you can do this at home in this source video: http://youtu.be/NIshZmYLVSs

Yup. this is spot on.
In 50 years, people will wonder how I survived another North American menace that lasted right into the 21st century, until the safety-first forces finally caught up with it: Tobogganing.

"What happened?"

"Uh, mommy was being a stupid cunt and probably needs to go to jail for reckless endangerment"

#ItCanWait  This mom was recording her children being as cute as possible in the back seat dancing, while she was driving... until she crashed.

Story
Tagline
Lighting Designer, Technical Director, Pyrotechnician, Filmmaker, Photographer, Sound Engineer, Computer Geek.
Introduction
Furry from the Pacific Northwest currently living in GA. I work primarily in lighting for concerts, but I also light theatre and night clubs, as well as corporate events. You may also find me doing film and photography work, from personal projects to event photography to feature film sets. Lastly, I have a strong background in IT.

I find these three components often intertwine each other, and advancing technologies are only going to bring them all closer together. Besides, I love learning new technology, and working with it.

Im a pretty chill guy and fairly easy to get along with. Just understand Im a Scorpio and am opinionated, and can come off as being an asshole sometimes. If you make some effort, you'll find I'm really not as bad as I may seem on the outside.
