I'm pretty sure I picked up CUSat-1 while it passed over Los Angeles, CA on a near perfect 89.6 degree elevation pass around 7:49 PM Sunday evening. I used my RTLSDR and a handheld arrow antenna. I did not have a preamp so the signals were low. I certainly need to improve my station! #amsat

Anyone have any tips for setting up a satellite station in an apartment (with a balcony)? I'm moving into one in Los Angeles in a few weeks and will definitely love to have a base station for satellites though likely wouldn't be able to have any permanent antennas. An Arrow antenna is fun but being able to stay inside or even have some sort of remote setup would be awesome!
