Thanks to our great customers, we are growing. Unfortunately, our current shop isn't growing. So, we have to move. After a few years of looking, we found our business new home, right next door. Well, you can't beat the commute. :) It's a farm homestead. A paper storage company owned it before us. It needs a little work, but that's just opportunity for customization .

We don't always install 22 foot tall, walk in refrigerators. But when we do, we create a custom forklift mounted vacuum pump assisted suction cup apparatus to help set each 22 foot tall walk in panel in place. Because, here at K-Wood LLC we don't mess around.

Don't forget, we also do residential HVAC service and installation. Give us a call at 844-987-0234 if your air conditioning needs a little TLC.

Equipment is great. Until it breaks down. Our shop forklift has been busy unloading everything from compressors to small rooftop units. Not to mention tons of sheet metal. It's tireless service finally took it's toll on the rear tire gantry bearings. These bearings allow the rear wheel to rotate for steering. But hey, that's no problem for us. Wwe bought new bearings and replaced them. The main nut needs to be torqued to 1,200-2,000 foot pounds. This seemed problematic at first. But a quick look on ebay showed a nice, cheap multiplier. It multiplies the wrenches torque 4 times so that our 600 foot pound torque wrench could easily muster the 1,200 foot pounds to properly torque the nut to insure long bearing life.

+MKT Metal Manufacturing wanted to see how well Aeroseal works for themselves, so they made us 12 feet of ductwork, and we sealed it. This ductwork was raw. Absolutely no sealing was performed beforehand. In Fact, we drilled a few more holes for fun. With our holes, the duct leaked 19 cfm. After we sealed it, 2.6cfm. A whopping 86.3% improvement. See the certificate for yourself. It's the last picture.

It dosn't matter if you're looking to clean up your home's air by sealing the ductwork, or you're a contractor who can't quite get your ductwork to within spec. Give us a call to see if Aeroseal is right for you. Or learn more by going to our website: k-woodllc.com/indoor-air-quality/

We're still hard at work on our Aeroseal trailer. We installed painted 1/4" plywood for the ceiling. We also built a shelf and a workbench. They're not finished, but they are functional.

Here at K-Wood LLC, we are always looking to improve our services. So, we have purchased a trailer that will be dedicated to our AeroSeal service. This service uses Aeroseal's technology to seal your ductwork from the inside.

The trailer will allow us to perform this service more efficiently. Now, we could have just thrown some shelves in this trailer and called it a day. But that's not us. There's no reason why we can't make this trailer functional and durable; while looking good. That is why we installed FRP on the walls. This gives a nice finished look, while being tough and durable. We also grounded the good looks with a floating floor. Get it, grounded, floor. :)
